Our story begins in Naples, the home of pizza and passion. Back in 1889, a local pizzaiolo named Raffaele Esposito created a masterpiece for Queen Margherita of Savoy — a pizza topped with San Marzano tomatoes, Fior di Latte mozzarella, and fresh basil, the colours of the Italian flag. And just like that, the Pizza Margherita was born — simple, beautiful, and full of heart.
At Mamma Margherita, we carry that same spirito Napolitano every single day. Our dough is made fresh in casa daily, using traditional methods and only the best ingredients — because Mamma wouldn’t have it any other way! Our forno a legna (wood-fired oven) gives every pizza its signature char and smoky kiss.
We believe that when you walk into our restaurant, you should feel like you’ve just stepped into an Italian home — where everyone says “Ciao!”, the coffee’s always flowing, and someone’s already insisting you try another slice. 🍷🍅
